Lucia Moon...
(she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and writer from Lafayette, Louisiana. She specializes in mixed media collages and poetry, driven by her love of storytelling and the desire to create her own mythology. Her process of creation begins with a word, phrase, image, object, or sound - drawn from a dream, nightmare, passing observation, or old Nat Geo magazine clipping - that speaks to her subconscious. Through the meditative process of dissection and recontextualization, Lucia is able to intuit meaning and find a story reflected in the end result. She likes hiding collages and poetry zines in local shops and cafes for people to discover and find their own meaning in.
Her recent works appeared in ARCHIVES 2025 Whimsy Visual Arts Exhibition, Loudhouse X ARCHIVES 2024 programDEprogram, and Southern Screen Arts Organization. You can tune into her music program, Beat Current (sound collages for robots), on Fridays at 11pm on 88.7 FM KRVS or stream on demand at KRVS.org.
